Gowrie Child Care Centre

Initially established as a kindergarten in 1940, the Gowrie Child Care Centre in Erskineville offers a number of high quality programs for children aged between 6 weeks and school age. The centre has provision for over 70 children each day. Additional in-house professional development is undertaken to support teachers and educators to learn and integrate issues affecting the communities in which the families and children live.

Gowrie Child Care Centre also supports a full program of stimulating experiences within a supportive and caring environment aimed at enhancing children’s understanding and appreciation of the world around them. The spacious landscaped playground area is a stimulus for ‘hands on’ environmental experiences and provides a wonderful natural environment for children to explore.
